I live in a state in which it is difficult for an individual to legally sell a gun, so Cash My Guns was great to find. The process was so straightforward that I first suspected it was a scam, but in fact everything went exactly as explained, and I received a fair price for my guns, deposited directly to my bank account.(Edit: negative online reviews are mostly about how CMG 'low balls' you on the price. Maybe so. But you're paying for convenience. If you want to bring your gun to multiple gun stores and haggle over a commission price in order to get an extra $100, that's fine. But CMG's process was worth it to me)

I would like to say that Cash My Guns does everything they state in their offer. I could have made it 4 stars but most of what was hard was due to me more than them. The process takes a bit of work but the communications was excellent throughout the complete process. Even with an issue with UPS on the handling of the firearms I packed. As most people I expected more for what I had as compared to what people are willing to pay. All in all, they did an excellent job completing the process and providing the payment options. These guys are legitimate!I was skeptical at first, I have been scammed before, more than once and for a substantial amount of money. I checked them out the best I could on the internet and there were some poor reviews but mostly good. I gave them a shot and couldn’t be any happier with the results. I sent them the pictures of my firearm and they came back with a bid that was right in the ballpark of what I could find for resale pricing. I informed them that I was indeed interested in dealing with them. A shipping tag was emailed to me, I packaged the firearm as per the instructions and sent it off. When the item arrived at their location I was offered an even higher bid, which I accepted. About a week later I received a check in the mail. Now how much easier could that be?Would I recommend them to a friend or family member? Absolutely!Will I use their services again?
